5. ANALYSING TOOLS AND ADVERTISING
GOOGLE ANALYTICS
This website uses functions of the web analysing service Google Analytics. Supplier is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies" which are text files that are stored on your computer to analyse your use of the website. The information generated by the cookies on the use of this website are generally transferred to and stored by Google on their servers in the USA.
The storage of Google-Analytics cookies is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a justified interest in analysing the user behaviour in order to optimize his web offer and advertising.
IP Anonymization
On this website we activated the IP anonymization function. As a result, your IP address will be shortened by Google within the member states of the European Union or other member states of the treaty on the European Economic space prior to its transfer to the USA. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address will be transferred by Google to a server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website in order to generate reports on the website activities and in order to provide services associated to the internet use towards the website operator. The IP address transferred by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
Browser Plugin
You can prevent storage of the cookies by appropriate setting of your browser software, please note however that you might not be able to use all the functions of this website properly if you do so. Furthermore, you can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and referred to the use of the website (incl. your IP address) and from processing these data by downloading and installing the browser Plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
Objection against data collection
You can refuse the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An Opt-Out-cookie will be set which prevents collection of your data on future visits on this website: deactivate Google Analytics.
You will find more information on the handling of user data with Google Analytics in Google’s privacy statement at: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.
Order data processing
We concluded a contract on order data processing with Google and completely implement the strict specifications of the German Data Protection Authorities when using Google Analytics.
Demographic features with Google Analytics
This website uses the function “demographic features” of Google Analytics. This allows to create reports that include statements on the age, sex and interests of the website visitors. These data originate from interest-related advertising by Google as well as from visitor data from third-party providers. These data cannot be allocated to a certain person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the display settings of your Google account or generally forbid collection of your data by
oogle Analytics as explained in the point “Objection against data collection”.
GOOGLE ANALYTICS REMARKETING
Our websites use the functions of Google Analytics Remarketing in connection with the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
This function makes it possible to link the advertising target groups generated by Google Analytics Remarketing to the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. In this way interest-related, personalized advertising messages which were adapted to you depending on your former usage and surf behaviour on one end device (e.g. mobile phone) can also be displayed on another end device of yours (e.g. tablet or PC).
If you give your relevant consent, Google will link your web and app browser history to your Google account for this purpose. In this way the same personalized advertising messages can be displayed on each end device where you log in with your Google account.
To support this function Google Analytics collects google-authenticated user IDs that are temporarily linked to our Google-Analytics data in order to define and create target groups for cross-device advertising.
You can refuse cross-device Remarketing/Targeting permanently by deactivating personalized advertising in your Google account; in this respect, please follow this link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/?hl=en.
The summary of the data collected in your Google account is based on your consent which you can give or revoke with Google (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). In case of data collection processes which are not merged in your Google account (e.g. because do not have any Google account or you contradicted the merger) data collection is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The legitimate interest results from the fact that the website operator is interested in the anonymized analysis of the website visitors for advertising purposes.
More details and data protection regulations can be found in Google’s privacy statement at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=en.
GOOGLE ADWORDS AND GOOGLE CONVERSION-TRACKING

The information obtained with the help of conversion cookies is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who decided in favour of conversion tracking. The customers will learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were forwarded to pages provided with a conversion tracking tag. They will however not receive any information which help identify users personally. If you do not want to participate in tracking, you can refuse this use by simply deactivating the cookie of Google conversion tracking via your internet browser under user settings.
